I have a Kubota B7500 with loader and backhoe. It occurred to me that it would be really nice to attach a hitch to the front of the tractor that could be used to pull a wagon without disconnecting either the backhoe or the loader. So I dig with the hoe, load with the loader and then pull the load in reverse with the hitch (while the loader is raised). I noticed that the frame of the tractor is visible and has 4 large holes drilled in it for attaching something.
Does anyone know of a source for a hitch that could be attached there? Anyone see a problem with this idea?

Nicely done. Did you have to worry about stress on the loader? I thought about a similar approach but I was not sure that the loader is mean for that type of pull.

The only thing I wanted to avoid was tweaking the upper lip of the bucket.... again.
That's why I went to the backside of the bucket and put a 1/2 inch slab of steel under the receiver.
The biggest item I plan on moving is my 1800#, 16 foot car trailer and only when it is unloaded.
I have a set of forks that I have modified to move my 5th wheel around and the tractor handles that 3500 pound + load just fine. ....

Mark did do a nice job on the bucket. The only thing to watch for is not to add tomuch weight as it will lower your lift capacity but it will work fine. ....

I have mounted a similar hitch to my buckets as Mark has, only real difference is that mine is mounted within the cavity of the bucket - and it really does not take anything away from the loader capacity. (see my pic #1) I have used it this way for about 15 years now, with a reinforcing angle to the top lip - this enhances the fork attachment stress points as well as picking up a heavy trailer tongue. I routinely move a 20' flatbed, and tandem dump trailer with it, no problems.

I made a front hitch receiver for my TC29. Since I have no front end loader, I had already fabricated a bolt-on front weight (these tractors are light in the front); later welded a piece of 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 x 3/16 wall square tubing to the front and also bolted it to the front bumper. It doesn't protrude past the bumper and hangs just below it. With the universal size receiver, I can just put my regular ball drop-hitch into it; also made a carrier to fit into it to haul firewood on and a removable front weight for when I'm using the backhoe (shown).

If you take a close look...(put your nose up to the screen close look)lol, amidst the shadow between the front wheels on my pic #1, you'll see that I still have a frame bolt on receiver as well. I used this quite a bit prior to the bucket mount, but the cranking up and down, on and off the tractor ultimately gave in to hydraulic lift of the bucket.
Either way, they both work out well.
